EVENTLIFY PROMOTIONS, RAFFLES, SWEEPSTAKES & PRIZE DRAWINGS
1. Responsibility for Promotions
If you choose to conduct or promote any raffle, sweepstakes, giveaway, opportunity drawing, contest, or other game of chance or skill (each, a “Promotion”) through Eventlify, you assume full and sole responsibility for the Promotion. You represent, warrant, and agree that:
- You are solely responsible for all aspects of the Promotion, including its creation, operation, administration, winner selection, prize fulfillment, and compliance.
- Your Promotion complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances, including but not limited to those governing charitable gaming, lotteries, sweepstakes, and online promotions.
- You have obtained all required licenses, permits, and approvals, or are otherwise legally exempt.
- You will ensure that all Promotion-related content, communications, and representations are accurate, complete, and not misleading.
2. No Sponsorship or Administration by Eventlify
Eventlify provides technology and payment facilitation services only. Eventlify does not sponsor, administer, operate, control, or endorse any Promotion, and does not have any role in:
- Determining eligibility
- Selecting winners
- Administering rules
- Awarding or delivering prizes
All Promotions are conducted solely by you and at your direction.
3. Merchant of Record & Payment Processing
Eventlify may act as the merchant of record for transactions processed through the platform.
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Eventlify acts as merchant of record solely as a payment facilitation provider and does not assume ownership, control, or operation of any Promotion.
- Eventlify does not independently verify or guarantee the legality, structure, or compliance of any Promotion.
- You are solely responsible for:
- The validity and legality of all transactions
- Any refunds, disputes, or chargebacks
- Compliance with all payment processor, card network, and financial regulations
Eventlify reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
- Delay, suspend, or withhold payouts
- Reverse or refuse transactions
- Request additional documentation or verification
…if a Promotion is suspected to violate these Terms, applicable laws, or presents financial, legal, or reputational risk. Eventlify further reserves the right to recover, offset, or reclaim funds, including amounts already disbursed, in connection with any Promotion that is later determined to be non-compliant, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.
4. Geographic & Eligibility Compliance
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your Promotion:
- Is offered only in jurisdictions where it is legally permitted
- Complies with all laws related to online, digital, and cross-border participation
- Is not accessible to or marketed toward individuals under the legal age of participation
Eventlify does not verify participant eligibility, geographic location, or legal compliance.
5. Promotion Rules & Required Disclosures
You agree to publish and maintain official rules for each Promotion that include:
- Eligibility requirements
- Entry terms (including whether a purchase is required, if applicable)
- Prize descriptions and odds (if applicable)
- Winner selection process
- Required legal disclosures
Your rules must clearly state:
- Eventlify does not sponsor, endorse, or administer the Promotion
- Participants release Eventlify from any and all liability
- All questions, disputes, and claims must be directed to you, not Eventlify
6. Tax & Reporting Obligations
You are solely responsible for:
- All tax reporting obligations, including but not limited to IRS Forms (e.g., 1099, W-2G)
- Any required tax withholding related to prizes
- Compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws
Eventlify does not provide tax or legal advice.
7. Refunds, Disputes & Chargebacks
You are solely responsible for:
- Handling all refund requests
- Resolving participant disputes
- Covering all chargebacks, reversals, fines, penalties, and associated fees
You acknowledge that payment processing fees may be non-refundable, and Eventlify shall not be liable for such costs.
8. Prohibited Promotions
You agree not to conduct any Promotion that:
- Violates any applicable law or regulation
- Is deceptive, misleading, or fraudulent
- Involves prohibited or restricted goods/services
- Creates undue legal, financial, or reputational risk to Eventlify
Eventlify reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether any Promotion is prohibited.
9. Right to Suspend or Terminate
Eventlify reserves the right, at any time and without liability, to:
- Suspend or terminate any Promotion
- Remove content or restrict access
- Withhold or delay payouts

- Violates these Terms
- Is non-compliant with applicable laws
- Poses risk to Eventlify, its users, or third parties
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Eventlify, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your Promotion
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Any dispute with participants, donors, or third parties
- Any chargebacks, refunds, or financial losses associated with your Promotion
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eventlify shall not be liable for any:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages
- Loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, or data
- Claims arising from or related to any Promotion
Eventlify’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total fees paid to Eventlify in connection with the applicable event or Promotion.
12. Disclaimer
Eventlify provides its services “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.
Eventlify makes no representations or warranties regarding:
- The legality or compliance of any Promotion
- The performance or outcome of any Promotion
- The accuracy or completeness of user-provided content
13. Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By creating, enabling, or conducting a Promotion through Eventlify, you expressly acknowledge and agree to these Promotion Terms and accept full responsibility for your Promotion.
